I remember getting a text from Lauren for wedding planner referrals and as someone who had been assisting in the industry for nearly seven years at this point, I thought “what about me?!” and from there we planned a 200+ person wedding in five months. It was so fun + I’m forever grateful to Lauren for trusting me!
The ceremony was held at Scarritt Bennett’s Wightman Chapel and then the party headed over to the Belle Meade Country Club for the cocktail hour and reception. Even though there was a tiny rain drizzle before the ceremony, there was a beautiful ray of sunshine that followed as we opened the chapel doors. It was like out of a movie.
Lauren’s dress by Nashville designer, Olia Zavozina, was one of three wardrobe changes. Her lace sleeves were fitting for the ceremony and once removed made her ready to dance all night at the reception. Before carrying the party on to downtown honky tonk’s Lauren changed once more into a sassy custom jumpsuit (seriously, it was perfect).
Navy, ivory and gold created a timeless aesthetic + complemented well to the creamy blooms and medium greens. As you entered the cocktail hour, your senses were filled with Gardenia fragrance, the bride’s favorite flower.
Blue Tone Music Group supplied the jams of a lifetime for the guests! Words cannot do them justice so here’s a few actions shots to prove our point – they’re the best!

Kind Words…
“When we first met with Sarah, I told her that I wanted our reception to be a party while still maintaining classical elements in design. Sarah’s suggestions, from tent draping to the band selection were perfectly in line with the atmosphere that we wanted to create for our big day. With her knowledge and know-how, we were able to create a once in a lifetime experience. We have heard from numerous guests that our wedding was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. I have no doubt that all of the planning on Sarah’s end contributed to this. I had full confidence in Sarah and her team.”

“I will start by saying I had two daughters marry within four months and only 5 months to plan for each. Sarah was a lifesaver. She was lovely to work with, paid attention to detail and available 24/7. She kept us on task and budget. The second wedding was held in a different state with a planner familiar with the fiancé’s family. Both daughters got the wedding of their dreams, but the glaring difference was Sarah never forgot it was the bride she was working with.”
